Wedding Stationery Terms & Conditions
Cosmic Lore Graphic Design reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Once an order is placed with Cosmic Lore Graphic Design, you have signified your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
QUOTES & INVOICES
Quotes & Invoices are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
SAMPLE PACKS
Sample packs are £8 and include one envelope and a single digitally printed sample invitation. If more than one sample invitation is required, additional digitally printed invitation samples can be included in the sample pack at a cost of £3 per invitation. Invitation samples are pre-printed designs, therefore they cannot be personalised. Samples are posted Royal Mail 2nd class and dispatched within 1 week. Other stationery items are not available as samples.
PROOFS
Digital proofs are free and sent as a PDF via email using the wording you supply and colour and design agreed in your order. Prices include colour changes, font changes and wording changes. Fair usage of unlimited rounds of simple design changes (PDF proofs) are included in your order. If on receipt of your PDF proofs, you decide that you would like a complete redesign, you will be invoiced of another design fee of £95.You are responsible for checking the PDF proof for all content, including layout, colour (please refer to the colour section for more information), dates, timings, spellings, spacing and grammar. Cosmic Lore Graphic Design does not offer a proof reading service. If proofs are approved by yourself with errors and are subsequently printed, Cosmic Lore Graphic Design takes no responsibility. If replacements are required, these will be charged to you in full. On review of your proofs, if any amendments are required, all changes must be emailed to Cosmic Lore Graphic Design. If you would prefer to see printed proofs of your 'before the day' wedding stationery, please notify Cosmic Lore Graphic Design at the time of ordering. A charge of £25.00 postage applies for a standard wedding invitation or £35.00 postage for a foil wedding invitation. Printed proofs of 'on the day stationery' and other finishing touches are not available.
COLOURS
Please note that colour on screen will always look different to the printed version. Due to the printing process, colour variation can occur between print runs. Therefore, colours will differ between your stationery sets and any samples or hard copy proofs that you receive.
CARD STOCK AND ENVELOPES
Cosmic Lore Graphic Design generally uses 2 types of card stock: 350gsm smooth card with a matt lamination for standard printed stationery, and 280gsm textured card for luxury printed stationery. Due to the current climate and supply chain challenges, alternative card stock may be used. Other card stock can be requested, but this cannot always be accommodated. Refunds will not be issued if on receipt of your printed stationery, you do not like the card stock. Table plans, welcome signs, and other signage are printed onto 5mm smooth white foamcore board.
With all 'before the day' stationery orders standard printed stationery includes smooth white envelopes free of charge, and luxury printed stationery includes matching white textured envelopes free of charge. Upgrades to colour envelopes, printed envelopes and envelope liners are available at an extra charge, please refer to price list.
ORDERING
An order is considered received as soon as the non-refundable booking fee has been paid. At this stage our timelines begin. A minimum order quantity of fifteen (15) applies to all stationery excluding table names, signage and custom illustrations. If you require less than the minimum order quantity, even in the event that extra stationery is needed following the receipt of your printed order, the cost per item will be significantly higher than the prices listed. Your wedding stationery and extras such as belly bands, self adhesive wax seals and envelope liners will be carefully packaged and supplied ready for you to assemble your invitation sets at home, unless you have upgraded and paid for the stationery assembly service.
PAYMENT
A non-refundable booking fee paid in (£) pound sterling is required to secure your order and for me to start on your designs. Once you have approved the final designs are they are ready to be sent to print, you will be required to pay the remaining balance before this is done. Payment method is via bank transfer, unless otherwise agreed. Bank details will be included on the booking fee invoice and final payment invoice that you will be sent.
LEAD TIME
Once your order has been confirmed, and non-refundable booking fee as been paid, Cosmic Lore Graphic Design will contact you within 3 working days for all of your wording and colour details. Once Cosmic Lore Graphic Design has received this information, a PDF proof of your personalised wedding stationery will be sent to you within 2-3 weeks. A 'rush order' proof service can be requested at the time of ordering. The 'rush order' proof service price is dependant on how quickly it needs to be completed and will ensure proofs are emailed within the timeframe agreed. Once you have approved your proofs, your stationery will be sent to print. Digitally printed stationery will be delivered to you within 2 weeks (plus an additional 1 week if the stationery assembly service has been ordered). Digitally printed foil stationery and 'on the day' stationery will be delivered to you within 3 weeks (plus an additional 1 week if the stationery assembly service has been ordered). In rare circumstances these timings may alter due to unforeseen circumstances, if this is the case, Cosmic Lore Graphic Design will keep you updated on your order. Throughout the year, Cosmic Lore Graphic Design will close for annual leave but this will be discussed if it will effect your lead time.
CUSTOM ILLUSTRATIONS
The digital image you supply for your venue illustration must be your own photograph so that you own the copyright. Due to copyright laws we cannot work from images taken from the internet, including social media unless you receive written permission from the copyright owner. Your photograph should be a clear, face on view of your venue with the building as the main feature. Venue grounds, gardens and shrubbery should be kept to a minimum. I digitally draw your custom venue and map illustrations. If a map illustration is required please be specific with what you want shown on the map illustration. Prices for these can be found on the price list.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
To minimise amendment and the need for reproofing, the information you supply for your wedding stationery must be your final draft with correct content including spellings, spacing, dates, timings and grammar. Please ensure your final wording draft is supplied within 1 week of your order/payment being received. Failure to do so may result in a delay in processing your order or cancellation of your order if it cannot be rescheduled in the diary. The information to complete 'on the day' stationery orders must be supplied to Cosmic Lore Graphic Design at least 5 weeks before your wedding date. It is your responsibility to ensure this information is with Cosmic Lore Graphic Design within this time line. Approval to print your 'on the day' stationery must be received by Cosmic Lore Graphic Design no later than 4 weeks before your wedding date. This allows time for production and postage to you. Failure to do so risks you not receiving your 'on the day' stationery in time for your wedding and Cosmic Lore Graphic Design will not be held responsible.
POSTAGE & PACKAGING
All orders are delivered Monday - Friday. Delivery of wedding stationery is tracked and will require a signature to provide proof of receipt. Delivery to mainland UK addresses is £5.95 (this excludes the highlands and islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands). Cosmic Lore Graphic Design take extreme care in packing your stationery. In the unlikely event your parcel suffers damage, please write ‘damaged’ when signing for the parcel and report this to Cosmic Lore Graphic Design within 24 hours via email. Failure to do so will impede any claim that is made and will mean that Cosmic Lore Graphic Design cannot replace your items free of charge. If ordering wedding day stationery (orders of service, place cards, seating plan, welcome sign, menus or table names) alongside save the date cards, invitations or reply cards, all wedding day stationery will be dispatched separately at a later date once you have confirmed your guest list. The address for the delivery of your wedding day stationery must be provided at least 3 weeks before your wedding date. Failure to provide this information will risk your order not being delivered in time for your wedding and Cosmic Lore Graphic Design will not be held responsible.
CANCELATION & RETURNS POLICY
Due to all of the stationery that I design being bespoke or semi-customised I am unable to accept returns due to any errors - so please make sure that you have checked the spelling, grammar and all designs are exactly as you want them, as this is your responsibility and they cannot be corrected once sent to print.
If you decide to cancel your order after the design process has begun before or after printing has begun, please note the booking fee is non-refundable, however you will not be required to pay the remaining balance on your order. Once the final payment has been paid, you are unable to request cancelations, refunds or returns as the sale has become final.
If your wedding information or date has changed and you wish to postpone your stationery to be printed then I can usually accommodate this, but the booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
